Relationship Between RMC and Quality of Care

Each standard is supported by specific aims and quality statements. The care standards encompass routine care and the management of complications for patients and their babies during labor, childbirth, and the early postpartum period.

They also cover the care and management of newborns during their first week of life. These standards and quality care statements are designed to ensure that high-quality maternal and newborn health services are provided.

Next, we will introduce Standards 4–8, focusing on their aims and quality statements and how they align with RMC principles.
