Welcome to
Equitable and Respectful Maternal Care Training
This training course contains four modules about discrimination, bias, race, equity in maternal health, and Respectful Maternity Care (RMC). You will be required to complete one module a week for four weeks. Each module takes approximately three hours to complete. These modules will provide a breadth of knowledge to raise awareness and enable healthcare providers to offer respectful care more effectively in obstetrics, gynecology, and patient health in general.
There will be pre-survey and post-survey assessments to gather comprehensive data and assess the effectiveness of the training. The survey is designed to allow participants to reflect on their experiences of providing care to women during shifts or duties.
Each module is developed based on a robust body of scientific evidence.
